Cotabato City Flood Victims Now Home Safe

A number of families affected by floods in Cotabato City returned to their homes on Saturday.

The residents decided to leave evacuation centers after learning from the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) that the floods in the city have already subsided.

Twenty-seven towns consisting of 250 barangays got flooded in Maguindanao, affecting around 88,100 families or 434,505 individuals.

The RDRRMC is set to meet with local officials on Sunday to plan on how the city will recover from the massive floods that have lasted for almost 2 months.
