Manila, Philippines
GMA News reports that Malabon Congressman Magtanggol Gunigundo saw a porn stash and a Wenworth Miller-Prison Break DVDs inside an unidentified hotel-like cubicle/ cell in the New Bilibid Prisons Maximum Security Compound in Mandaluyong City.
The "contrabands" were seen in an inspection made by the House's Justice Panel on Tuesday.
NBP chief Superintendent Ramon Reyes was quick to explain that inmates are allowed to watch movies inside their cells for “recreation" purposes, but porno and violent films are strictly prohibited.
Wow, what difference does it make? In-mates can now pleasure themselves while watching porn inside jail? Heck, unfair. They're inside Bilibid to "suffer" for their alleged "mistakes," right?
If it's prohibited, how come they have it?
