Chief Justice Renato Corona has ok'd the live video broadcast -on the web- of the Maguindanao massacre trial.
This news was announced by Supreme Court Spokesperson Jose Midas Marquez who said that the SC will restructure and upgrade their website to be able to "live stream" nationwide, worldwide. Cool!
This is in accordance with Corona's instruction to make the trial accessible to viewers (especially the youth), continuously and without interruption.
Speaking of convenience, Midas Marquez explained that once a scheduled trial is in progress, it can be immediately viewed by simply visiting the SC website (http://www.sc.judiciary.gov.ph) using computers or mobile internet devices.
