Scotty McCreery Is The American Idol, Season 10
Congratulations!
Whew, I have nothing more to say. As predicted, Scotty won the competition.
Who Will Be The Next American Idol, Scotty or Lauren ?
Time flies very quickly.
Here we are, watching the musical face-off as it unfolds in front of our eyes.
2 Idol contestants, 7,000 screaming fans at El Lay Nokia Theater, 3 worn out and almost 'boring' judges who say the same thing again and again, plus 6 performances that i don't know if it's finale-worthy. You do the math, total all of the figures given and you'll arrive with one solution - equals 7,011 bigtime suck!, Phew all of this wouldn't have happened if Haley's still around.
As expected Dear Scotty did not even break a sweat, with that i mean he's so comfortable singing his ass on-stage. I would like to assume those performances were his last concert on Idol- since it's the Finale, right?
With Lauren, our teen-age girl with "confidence" issues, she has improved but not to the point where you'll be convinced that she's really in it to win it.
What do you expect? They're just kiddos.
For them opening acts, McCreery sang "Gone" while Alaina strutt her sexy muscles to the tune of "Flat on The Floor". With this round, Scotty performed effortless while with Lauren - never mind!
How about 'Maybe It Was Memphis' and 'Check Yes Or No?'
Carrie Underwood picked that country thang for our little Lauren - in my dreams? But thanks god, it did wonders for her. On the boys side, Scotty the hottie's presentation of the swagger-full Check... is full of swagger, check it out. Did I just repeat two words here?
And then, here comes the single that these two will shout to the world. In here, there should be a moment. Like, 'a moment like these, because some people wait a lifetime for a moment like these.' Okay that may have rung a bell inside your nutty brains, but what you're about to watch will be forgettable. The moment you poo and wipe your ass with that freakin' tissue paper, i'm telling you you'll forget these two songs.
For Scotty, it's " I Love You This Big." Boy, is his love really that big? JLo would want to see. Ha?!
For Lauren, our dear accent-ed girl knows how to manipulate the votes. I just noticed, she's so clever that's why she chose to do a tribute song for moms, "Like My Mother Does" - hush, because they are the ones who vote more!
So now that we all have feasted on the meat of the fruit, we go to the pulp. Final Verdict. Who's in it to win it? You bet, i was quite surprised that Lauren has the most improvement tonight. She found her niche, during the last part of the competition.
With Scotty, from day one until now, he has it. McCreery sounds like a recording artist, and he performs like one. Alaina has still some little improvements needed - talk about polishing some fatty edges. Ha?!

My mind tells me, It's gonna be Haley Scotty. Not unless god will interfere and do miracles with Lauren, like duh! Scotty is the next American Idol.

Lauren Alaina Sings 'Flat On The Floor' - American Idol Finale, Season 10
Hmm, Lauren clearly struggled with this one. But performance-wise, at least she kind of 'nailed' it.

Scotty McCreery Vs. Lauren Alaina - Who Will Be The Next American Idol?
Season 10 brings us underage, country singer "accent-ed" contestants in the grand finale.
Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery buying for the title of the next "American Idol" Wow.
First, let us analyze their musicality.
Scotty obviously has a deep killer voice. He nails every song that he sings, when he does it low. The problem happens when he tries to reach for the high notes - it does not sound good.
Lauren, our girl with "nerve" issues made it this far. It's her personality, all cute and charming, that made America like her, i guess. With regard to her voice, she has obviously a unique tone, it's sweet but wait until she gets on stage - everything will turn bitter, because she's not sure if she's got it in herself.
Say one of them wins - which is now inevitable -would Scotty or Lauren have a successful country recording career?I mean, look at Carrie Underwood. Will these two, in any way, walk directly over the path that Carrie has walked on? Or one of them will be like Taylor Hicks, who never experienced stardom after winning the Idol title in 2006.
Them two are young, they can be trained and improved. And my mother would kill me if i continue to bash Scotty because she's a fan. Heck!
So, Who do you think will bag the crown? Would America go for a corny, handsome deep-voiced crooner or with a Georgian girl -that has some confidence issues- who has got a sweet voice? Share your thoughts...
Why Haley Reinhart Got Eliminated? - American Idol, Season 10 Results Night
![]() |
| Haley Reinhart Sent Home on Idol Tonight |
Today's elimination sent Haley Reinhart home.
I'm a big fan that's why i am kind of sad about what happened.
I think part of the blame goes to Jimmy Iovine and the Judges.
To Iovine because he chose a lame-ass ethereal song for Haley in round 2, and to the judges, for choosing Alanis Morissete's You Ought To Know, because it not in any way, did good for her.
Maybe these four, Iovine and the judges, have had a demolition plan to whack her out.. and this bee-yawtch in the name of Jennifer Lopez and her diva-syndrome attitude yesterday really irked me to high heavens.
Okay, i'm just being bitter. :)
With over 95 million votes, America has the last say, and they did not like Haley. If you would analyze, Lauren has got the girls votes, and Scotty has the girls votes too - girls with crushes on him.
Which leave us with Haley, who has i think has the "high society" votes, and to tell you honestly, people with class are quite a few. *Wink
I just hope that our dear Haley will soon record a song and release an album. She'll do fine, she has more potential to conquer the music scene than the lame Lauren and the Elvis-like, swagger-ly handsome, Scotty.

Who Got Eliminated on Idol? - American Idol, Top 5 Results Show
Over 60 million votes came in last night, the highest of this season.
Wow.
Ryan Seacrest, in all his formal-suit glory, dropped the iconic phrase, "You might be surprised"
Are we?
Well, if you will base your judgement from the performances yesterday, you'll already have an idea on who'll be sent packing.
Jimmy Iovine, the hybrid reincarnation of Simon Cowell -minus the English accent- scolded Lauren Alaina for pulling back to belt out the "high" note in Unchained Melody.
Iovine predicted that Alaina will be in the bottom two (B2) this week, he was absolutely right.
Lauren was joined by Jacob Lusk in the B2 after receiving a 6-point criticism from their mentor, Iovine who said that Lusk had a rough night and both songs that he sang, No Air and Love Hurts, were off. I agree!
So now it's between Lauren and Jacob.
The sixteen-year old Lauren Alaina, her very first time to be in the bottom 2, did not manage to control her emotions. She cried. tears flowed down on her face, it messed up her Greek-goddess make-up and everything...
The result, drum-rolls, America said Jacob Lusk is going home.
